Caritas Bosnia and Alterural Association organized a study visit to Kragujevac - the eighth International Fair of tourism and rural tourism, and the fourth Fair of trade, food and craftworks. The organizers of this event, which was held from 24th until 26th November 2016 were local tourism organization of Kragujevac and Šumadija Fair.




Tourism and rural tourism Fair Kragujevac has high quality and tradition, and each year a growing response of exhibitors. At this year's fair participated more than 100 exhibitors from spas and health resorts, health, recreational and sports centers, accommodation and catering facilities from Serbia, Bosnia, Macedonia and other countries. Visitors had the opportunity to get acquainted with the tourist offers, arrangements for New Year and Christmas holidays, vacations, and general offers in rural tourism in Serbia. There have been exposed a variety of handicrafts and food products of many rural households in Kragujevac and the surrounding area. Additionally the program was enriched with artistic performances, professional forums and presentations.

In addition to visiting the fair, participants of this study visit experienced the farm "Janin raj" in the immediate vicinity of Kragujevac. Rural household "Janin raj" has a traditional Šumadija ethnic style, with spacious and tidy yard, summer house and an ethnic restaurant. The farm is active two years already, and it was named after the younger daughter of the owner of the property.

On the way back the participants visited the place "Terzića avlija", rural household in the village Zlakusa near Užice, where they shared experiences with lovely hosts.
