Technical training "Serving and preservation of the food" (April 2017)
On Tuesday, 25th of April 2017, in the village of Gojevići near Fojnica we organized one-day workshop entitled "Serving and keeping food". The workshop was organized in the premises of the Association of Women "Fojnička žena" in the village Gojevići, from 9 to 17h. This workshop is the second of 10 planned technical workshops under a project financed by the European Union. The project is implemented by "Eurogites" PD "Vranica" Fojnica, Association "Kresevski citrin" Kreševo and Women's Forum "Strica-Zaruđe" Vareš, coordinated by the Association Alterural from Sarajevo. The workshop is second one from the module of gastronomy. The objectives of the workshop which was attended by 25 service providers in rural tourism are: to train participants to serve and decorate food, explain the ways of cleaning the kitchen and dishes, and together go through the organization of work and space on the basis of regulations and constraints in rural tourism. It is important to emphasize the importance of continuity of workshop modules, in terms of rounding up all the segments related to the preparation, storage, presentation and serving food in the framework of rural tourism. Our lecturer, famous BH. cook and expert advisor for the quality of food mr Hamid Kujraković, emphasized the obvious progress of the participants in the acquisition of new knowledge in this field. The project "Building-up rural tourism destinations around Sarajevo to diversify the rural economy" is supported in the framework of the civil society 2014 to 2015 with the goal of connecting people and the reduction of unemployment through the improvement of cooperation of major stakeholders at the local level and the assessment of the market of the active population. The project duration is three years and municipalities covered by this project are Kresevo, Vares, Ilijas, Fojnica, Sarajevo Center Sarajevo, Old Town, and East Old Town.
