Workshop - Business Frame in RT (March 2018)
On March 22, 2018, in the premises of the Turkish Cultural Center in Fojnica, was held a professional training entitled "Business Environment and Business Frame in Rural Tourism", led by prof. Dr. Edin Arnaut.
This is the second workshop from the marketing section, in a total of 10 training sessions planned for the Alterural project, funded by the European Union. More than 20 service providers in rural tourism were present, as well as municipal representatives from the project area. The participants gained knowledge about legal arrangements in Bosnia and Herzegovina, learned to elaborate a development plan for services, as well as elements and pricing criteria.
Accent is placed on megatrends in the world's tourism industry, which are compatible with comparative advantages and selective forms of tourism in Bosnia and Herzegovina, primarily rural tourism.
The host and co-organizer of the workshop is the Mountaineering Association "Vranica" Fojnica, one of Alterural's partners on the project.
The project "Building-up rural tourism destinations around Sarajevo to diversify rural economy" was supported by the 2014-2015 Civil Society Program, with the aim of linking citizens and reducing unemployment through enhancing local stakeholder cooperation and assessing the active population market. The project is funded by the European Union funds.
The duration of the project is 3 years, and the municipalities of this project are Kreševo, Vareš, Ilijaš, Fojnica, Sarajevo Center, Stari Grad and Stari Grad.
