Annual Meeting of the Federation of the Most Beautiful Villages of the World
The Network of the Most Beautiful Villages of Bosnia and Herzegovina had the honor of participating in the annual meeting of the Federation of the Most Beautiful Villages of the World, which brought together representatives from more than 12 countries, including France, Italy, Belgium, and Japan. The Federation of the Most Beautiful Villages of the World held its General Assembly in Castellar de la Frontera, Andalusia. This was particularly significant for Bosnia and Herzegovina, as our country officially became a member of this prestigious international network in May 2024.
During the meeting, examples of innovative projects from Bosnia and Herzegovina that contribute to the development and revitalization of rural areas were presented, including the SMART ERA project in Bratač, the VR project at Bobovac Fortress, and the multifunctional community center in Pecka. Participants also visited the white villages of Andalusia in Spain, which serve as an excellent example of preserving rural heritage, traditions, and cultural identity.
