International Tourism Fair in Lukavac (May 2015)
On Thursday, 7th of May 2015 Alterural organized a visit to the International Tourism Fair "List" in Lukavac, which is being held for the 13th time. The participants were service providers in rural tourism. We took the opportunity and visited the protected landscape Bijambare, which covers 370 acres and includes a dense coniferous forests, pastures, numerous karst phenomena such as sinkholes and abysses of two streams, and six caves. This area is protected in order to preserve landscapes, scientific research, environmental education and education, and recreation and tourism.
Also, we visited the ethno avlija Mačkovac, unique ethnic area that includes several houses, workshops, mills and other old buildings, which are more than a hundred years ago were part of the tradition.
Lukavac Tourism Fair is an opportunity to show off the natural beauty of Bosnia and Herzegovina and tourist destinations in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
